About:

Elder Yvette L. McKinnie was born in Chicago, IL on February 26, 1969. She is the youngest and the only daughter of Jesse and Minister LaAndrea Turner. She is the proud mother of two children, Octavia M. McKinnie and Michael McKinnie, Jr.

In 1983, she graduated from Burbank Elementary School, where she picked up Sign Language for a very special autistic cousin. She then attended Edward G. Foreman High School. After graduating in 1987, she attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, where she received her Associates Degree. She is seeking to further her education with a degree in Theology.

Elder McKinnie has attended numerous classes, trainings and conferences, as well as teaching classes to youth and adults. She has numerous certificates of completion. In 2007, while under the leadership of Bishop T.A. Clark, Jr. (former Faith Deliverance Christian Center), she was called into the Ministry. In 2008, she was licensed as a Minister to Preach, Teach and Evangelize the Gospel. In 2011, she bacame a Charter member of World Deliverance Christian Center under the Leadership of Bishop Thomas A. Clark, IV. In 2013, she was Ordained as an Elder.

At World Deliverance she serves a General Overseer of the Evangelism Ministry, Overseer of T.A.C. (Teens Anointed for Christ) and Teacher in the Ministry of Christian Education. She also is the Assistant Overseer of Evangelism for Faith Tabernacle Outreach Ministries (FTOM). Elder McKinnie has also travelled to South Africa, preaching and teaching the Word of God.

She has been employed with the Cook County Sheriff's Department for the past 22 years. During her years of service, she has recognized that she has been called to reach the lost, to heal the broken hearted, to pull down, to build, to plant and to restore lives. While working as a Cook County Sheriff, she has encountered many lost souls, hopelessness, broken hearted and much more. Her goal is to reach the lost generation so that the Kingdom of God will increase. She has a heart for God's people and loves talking about the Word of God to all.

Through many trials, tribulations and struggles that she may go through, as well as her victories, she continues to hold on to God's Word - Psalms 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
